Christine Rees, DVM, DACVD, Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist
Dr. Rees is a Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist. Hillside welcomed her to the practice in 2010.
Dr. Rees was a tenured faculty member at Texas A&M University for 13 years. She recently left the university to move closer to her family. Dr. Rees is nationally and internationally known. She has published numerous journal articles and book chapters dealing with equine and small animal allergy and dermatology. One of her more prestigious accomplishments was her involvement in research dealing with the merle coat gene that lead to a US Patent and publication in the Proceedings for the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America.
While a tenured faculty Associate Professor at Texas A&M University, Dr. Rees received the 2006 Award for Excellence in Clinical Service. She continues to excel at providing quality, compassionate, veterinary care for her patients. Her concern is for your pet's well being, comfort and quality of life.
Dr. Rees sees skin, ear, and allergy-related cases at Hillside Veterinary Clinic during the week.
